ODE TO A PIMPMOBILE

I loved you Pimpmobile, but you were a mistake. You were supposed to be a Toyota hybrid, but the Japanese production facility was shut down due to the earthquake. The few that remained had a 5k dealer mark up which I could not take.

So I stumbled upon you. Sure you were a little order, had 3 previous owners, and showed clear signs of wear and tear, but I, I did not care. At $100 to fill up your 4.3 liter V-8, you were no cheap date. But those 290 silky-smooth horses were worth the rate. When I stepped on the gas you would go zoom. At the same time, reclining in those plush leather seats felt like I was driving around in my living room.

Taking you to the office on the weekends was a lot of fun, driving through the hood under the warm Cali sun. Remember that one time when we pulled up next to the Esse’s? 176 watts of fire a blaring, those homies were a staring. I threw them the horns. They nodded back with no threat. They too were fans of the metal, if I had to bet. The light turned green and together we rode off into the sunset.

Being with you was great, and those are the memories upon which I will meditate. And now from my heart to yours, it’s time to say goodbye. You are being shipped over seas to your new owner in Dubai.

Just walking through our production floor this morning. I never get tired of seeing our shirts being printed.

It started off in San Diego a few years ago, and it spread to Local Celebrity customers all across the country. We say it all the time, but we really do have the best and coolest customers in the world!

And even in other countries! After these shirts are finished being made, they will heading off to their new home in London. Jolly good!

Los Angeles has always been a big supporter of Local Celebrity.

These tank tops are going to Malibu! So not fair!!! I might have to deliver these ones myself.

Of course all of our garments are proudly made in California.
