Democrat t-shirts are sure to be popular this coming election year, especially among the youth voting demographic. People have been using political t-shirts to get their point across for decades, which became more widespread in the 1960s. One of the most popular and satirical political t-shirts in the 1960s was the "Pigassus for President" shirt, which promoted a campaign of a fake character for president to poke fun at and disrupt the political system. Today's liberal t-shirts may not be as revolutionary as they were in the 1960s, but they are just as smart and much better circulated.

Mainstream democrat t-shirts tend to be a little more respectable compared to some of the more radical liberal t-shirts. In either case, they are very interesting examples of the political and social system at work.
