Local Celebrity T Shirts are part of a huge American trend that has been in the making for decades. Cool tshirts are a fairly new phenomenon in the history of the world; the word "t shirt" was not included in the Webster's Dictionary until the 1920s. The look of cool t shirts has changed over the years, but one thing has remained the same - these articles of clothing are comfortable and casual. When t shirts were first produced, they were meant to serve more as undergarments for men, but that slowly changed.

 

The era of cool t shirts for men can be seen in the making during the 1950s, when Marlon Brando's t shirt was tailored to be as form-fitting as possible to show off his once sexy figure. Cool tshirts for women became more popular in the 1970s, when Farrah Fawcett shirts were sold after she appeared on Charlie's Angels. Now products like Local Celebrity T Shirts imitate the styles of the 1970s and 1980s tshirts, proving fashion is cyclical. The most popular form of cool tshirts today is silk-screened, but cool t shirts with digital reproductions are becoming very popular, as well. The phenomenon of the t shirt does not seem to have any slowing in sight, as a recent survey showed that 62 percent of Americans own at least 10 t shirts.
